Story

The story revolves around our hero named "Genji".  Genji is a knight whose kingdom is attacked by a man named "Zio". Burned to the ground, she seeks revenge for her nation and begins her journey, being captured in a Dungeon.  On her journey, she'll meet new allies, learn new magic, and discover Zio's true intentions. 

Gameplay

SouL uses the default RPG2k battle system.  You'll learn magic as you continue to level up and find equipment within dungeons and shops. Gameplay is pretty classic, so it's worth grinding when you can (I recommend when you have gathered Wolf Skins for a Boat Ticket)

Parting Words

Don't take this game super seriously. It was written when I was 14, so there will be spelling and grammar issues.  Any modifications to character sprites were made in MS Paint; it's a trip down memory lane that's fun for me to revisit; others may not feel the same way. I did place some minor updates in certain areas in 2025.

Bugs

Do not use the party stone twice in a row. You'll lock your self in the party changing screen. 

Requirements

You will need to use the emulator EasyRPG, as this game uses the old RTP files. Since then, many files have been missing, and you have been crashing.  Use the emulator.
