The story is about how the world goes through different cycles in its lifespan, and each cycle has an ending. You start as Ethan, 16 years later, after the world has gone through its final cycle. The people live inside giant mountains formed years before the final catastrophe. Ethan, like all boys who live in the mountain, must go through Knight training as part of their privilege of living within the Mountain. Nobody knows what's left of the world, and everything is a mystery, until one night a strange banging at the mountain's main gate occurs. It's been heard for a few nights, and the Knights are trained to investigate the matter. Only a few volunteers take on the challenge and move through tunnels. When Ethen and his team make it out, they notice that the world still seems intact. As they venture further into the world, they discover a body that's been ripped and torn apart. Who did this? What did this? Are there still people in this world living outside of the mountains? You'll need to time-travel back to uncover the reason for this.
Battles are traditional turn-based, with each character having their own unique abilities. Understanding the enemy's elemental weakness plays a big factor in how your battles will shape up.
There's one bug I discovered on my most recent playthrough (2025), and honestly, I don't remember how I triggered it. But there's a scene where you can level up your attack power infinitely; I believe it's somewhere in the castle area. Good luck!
