Several Millenia ago, mankind had reached a peak. They held countless pieces of technology and ruled over all. But just as the sun must set and the tide go out, so would mankind ebb. The only thing left for man to do was research the unanswerable questions. One scientist disovered the secret of magic, and through it's use, found something amazing. His discovery revealed the answers to the universe to him. He compiled his findings in a journal so that others may learn the answers. However, he could not control the power he found and became a beast. The poor scientist ravaged the world causing a downward spiral. Eventually, a hero named Terrence appeared and destroyed the beast, dying with it. The story has been long forgotten as more than tales. But soon, the book will appear again, and so shall the beast...
