『シミュレーションRPGツクール95』でゲームを作るときに、重要なポイントになるのが、“戦闘バランス”。この『豪傑たちの黄昏』は、戦闘のバランスや戦略性を、“将棋”をお手本にしながら作られたサンプルゲームだ。登場するユニットも、“将棋”を元に設定してあるぞ。ルールも将棋とほぼ同じ。敵のキングを倒すのだ！
