(Von diesem Spiel existierte auch eine Vollversion, die nach derzeitigem Wissensstand wohl verschollen ist)
STORY;-
Well, I don't really want to go into too much detail, but this is how it all lead up to this game (with Link III);-
This game takes place after the Game Boy game, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. Link watches with pride as the great Wind Fish flies onward, free from his eternal nightmare. However, it still leaves Link stranded in the middle of the sea, with nothing but a few planks of wood to rest on. Days went by. Link cracks an eyelid open, sprawled out on the drifting wreakage, looking up to the brilliant blue, but bleak sky. Another seagull flies past, calling softly. The thought of a good meal had already left his feeble mind, and survival was following suit. All he could do was.... rest...... He had no strength left. He was consious - barely - but too weak to do a thing. He obligingly let the hand slip underneath him and sprawl him out onto the hard, wooden surface. This surface rocked a lot, albeit very slowly, and he was aware of lots of thudding happening around him. Soft pattering of peoples feet surrounded him. Some murmurings could be heard. 'Look at him....... white as sand.....' One proclaimed. 'Is he alive..?' Another silently asked. A leathery foot tapped the side of Link's head. He slowly tilted it the other way to avoid annoyment. 'He's alive.' A stern woman's voice said. 'Now get back to work, all of you.' Immediately the thudding happened again, and it faded away. Two more happened, positioning someone to his side. 'Don't you worry.' The woman's voice said. 'We're only a few days travel from a port town'....
A couple of days spent in a bed, willing his strength back up, Link got up. He walked to the door of his cabin, and looked outside. He now saw the beautiful colours of land before him, all around a small bay in which this ship rested. Seagulls flew overhead, people mulled around, and life was carrying on like it always had - when he was gone. 'Oh, so you're up now.' Link turned around, to see a woman behind him. Her voice was the one he had heard all this time - and, like herself, he now realized how beautiful it was. But she was dressed in plain, workwoman clothing. She smiled politely. 'Surprised to see me, for the first time?' She said. 'I'm the captain of this ship - Mentia. I'm the one that spotted you in the water.' 'Oh...... pleased to meet you.' said Link. She took a few steps towards the dock. 'I've been very interested in you. Are those things yours?' He placed a hand behind him, to feel the hard edge of the sword sheath on his back. 'Yes.' 'Then you must have an interesting story or two to tell.' Now she walked off the ship, onto the dock. She looked back to Link. 'We can go into the Tavern here - and that will give you plenty of time to tell me everything about you.' Later, they entered the tavern. And, from here, Link began his story......
